Ben and Amanda’s Raleigh maternity session at the NC Museum of Art focused on natural moments, connection, and celebrating their growing family.

Ben and Amanda’s Maternity Session at the Raleigh Art Museum

Sessions

Ben and Amanda’s maternity session at the North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh, NC, was all about slowing down and enjoying this season of life together before welcoming their little one. Rather than focusing on posing for the camera, we made space for them to connect as a couple, be present with each other, and enjoy the beginning of what will soon become a family of three.

One of my favorite parts of this session was seeing how naturally comfortable they became in front of the camera when they focused on each other instead of worrying about what to do. Those little moments of connection made their photos feel genuine and personal.

As a Raleigh maternity photographer, my goal is to create a relaxed experience where you can focus on enjoying this season rather than worrying about posing. Whether you’re planning maternity photos with your partner or documenting your growing family, I’d love to help you create images that feel like you.

The NC Museum of Art is a beautiful location for maternity photos in Raleigh, offering a mix of open landscapes, greenery, and modern architecture. The variety of backdrops made it easy to create a gallery of portraits that felt both natural and timeless.
